I’m Maija Tallavaara-Hamari, a visual artist and mother of two school-aged children. As a photographer I seek soft, natural light, harmonious settings and genuine presence so that your maternity images convey the exact moment and emotional range you want to keep. Why choose MunMuru for your maternity photography? Because my focus is on pregnancy shoots and the mood of motherhood. I work from my studio in Olari/Suurpelto, Espoo, and during spring, summer and autumn I also offer on-location sessions across the Espoo–Helsinki–Vantaa area. I value the time and space that make a photoshoot calm and safe — especially important for pregnancy photography. My approach is gentle and guiding: I stay with you throughout the session and never rush the process. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can be completely yourself. I advise on wardrobe and posing, emphasise skin tones and details with soft light, and use the environment to support the story. The result is images with both beauty and authenticity — photographs you’ll return to for years to remember this special time. Practically: I recommend scheduling maternity photography between weeks 28–35, when the bump is nicely rounded and you often still feel energetic. We book in advance and decide together whether the session will be in studio or on location. The shoot includes preparation guidelines and a calm, unhurried session, after which you’ll receive a digital gallery of your selected images. Although maternity photography is MunMuru’s core speciality, I also offer family photography — so if you wish, I can capture the whole family alongside the pregnancy images.
