I’m Julia Jersov, founder of JeJu Photo and a maternity photographer based in Mäntsälä. As a mother, I understand how unique and tender the pregnancy period is — that’s why I approach maternity photography with care, calm and careful planning. My aim is to create images that feel like you and preserve the genuine atmosphere of this moment for years to come. My work is built around a relaxed, safe and warm studio experience. We prepare the session together: we discuss mood, outfits and composition so the final images reflect your personal style. In the studio I offer a selection of wraps and drapes to simplify wardrobe choices and support a classic, timeless look. I want my clients to be able to relax and focus on being present — the best images come from natural presence and comfort. During sessions I provide gentle, encouraging direction, so you don’t need prior experience in front of the camera. I pay close attention to how your body feels and to your wishes throughout the shoot; my approach is safe and client-centered. I also offer personal guidance before the session — for example, when to schedule a maternity shoot and how to prepare so we capture the most beautiful pregnancy photos. JeJu Photo’s maternity sessions emphasize naturalness, emotion and detail: the curve of the belly, hands, glances and closeness. My photographic style combines soft, flattering light with a recognizable, atmospheric post-processing that honors the authenticity of the moment. While maternity photography is my specialty, I also photograph families and children — maternity sessions remain the area where I invest my deepest expertise.
