I am a maternity photographer based in Herttoniemi, specializing in capturing those moments when pregnancy feels most meaningful. For me, maternity photography is above all storytelling: I aim to convey the tenderness, warmth and connection between the expectant parent and their unborn child. My working approach is gentle and calm. As a parent of two young children myself, I understand the sensitivity of the waiting period and how important a safe, relaxed atmosphere is. I prefer to shoot using natural light and in environments where you can be yourselves — we move, laugh, and make sure the images feel genuinely like you. I offer gentle guidance when needed, but my goal is always to preserve authenticity and prioritize emotional portraiture. Before the session we’ll discuss your wishes in detail: what kind of mood you prefer, which locations feel right, and whether you want your partner or other family members to join. I consider planning an essential part of the process so the final images feel touching and meaningful. In post-processing I aim for a restrained, timeless look that highlights light, softness and emotion — photographs you will want to return to years from now.
