I’m Maikki Wuoristo, a Salo‑based maternity photographer, and my passion is to create images that tell the story of pregnancy with warmth, dignity and authenticity. As a mother myself and as someone who meets many expectant families in my work, I know how important a safe, unhurried and respectful photography experience is. In my studio in Salo I create a calm, homely environment where you can focus on being present in your body. I also offer outdoor and environmental sessions in natural settings — both choices support an intimate atmosphere. The studio is equipped with a selection of loan gowns and a palette of soft, neutral tones that accentuate the beauty of pregnancy without distracting embellishments. The session progresses gently: I guide you into natural poses so that posing never feels difficult, and we work at a relaxed pace to keep the experience comfortable. My approach is personal: after booking I send a short pre‑session questionnaire so we can plan the shoot according to your wishes and timing. On the day of the session the priority is calm and flexibility: we take breaks, change outfits when needed, and I always move forward on your terms so you feel secure throughout. I work mainly with natural light and soft studio setups to give the final images a timeless, warm look.
