I’m Mirjami — a visual, feeling-driven person and an incurable romantic. Maternity photography is a special opportunity for me to capture moments that will carry meaning for years to come. I specialize in maternity photography and approach each session personally: I want the images to feel like you and to tell your unique story. My style is soft, timeless and artistic; I love the subtle tones of natural light and the moments where emotion shows in small gestures. I photograph in my home studio at Nansotalo in Nokia, in clients’ homes and on location along the Tampere–Helsinki–Turku corridor — I’m happy to suggest beautiful settings that enhance the atmosphere of expectation. Travel costs are included in many of my packages, so we can plan the shoot in a place that suits you. How do I work? Before the session we get to know each other and plan together — we take time to discuss wardrobe, setting and your wishes. The shoot itself is warm and unhurried; I give gentle guidance but leave room for authentic moments. My experience as a mother and my years of work in photography help create a safe atmosphere where the expectant mother can be herself and enjoy the moment. I aim for you to feel beautiful and natural in the images. My particular strengths are intimate at-home portraits and soft environmental images where light and mood do the talking. I work in a way that lifts small details — hands on the belly, a thoughtful glance, a quiet smile — into the image’s main emotional elements.
