Hi — I’m Hanna, the photographer behind WesArt. My passion is capturing the special time of pregnancy as beautiful, timeless images. In maternity photography I combine over ten years of experience with careful guidance and a gentle atmosphere so that the expectant mother feels beautiful and safe during the session. I specialize in maternity (pregnancy) photography around Oulu and work from my cozy studio in Kempele. My approach is unhurried and attentive: we plan the image style together — light and airy, moody and dark, softly delicate or slightly bolder — and I choose lighting and composition that highlight your unique moment. The studio client closet and carefully selected props help create the right mood for your photographs. Why choose WesArt for your maternity photos? I shoot each session individually and with a warm touch. I guide natural poses and expressions while ensuring the shoot feels relaxed and safe — many clients tell me the session becomes a lovely, restful pause in everyday life. I also bring formal training and competitive experience (Qualified European Photographer), which you’ll see in the technical quality and the finishing of the images. My shooting technique and post-processing support a clear artistic vision. Practically, maternity sessions work best about 1–2 months before your due date. We’ll plan outfits, backgrounds and any location in advance. We can shoot in studio or outdoors — summer evening location sessions often take advantage of the soft light at dusk. After the shoot I provide a proof gallery where you choose the images you want for final editing and products. A maternity session is often the start of a larger story: many clients continue with newborn and family photography so we can document the whole life-stage progression.
