Hi, I’m Helin — a photographer from Kouvola whose heart is with people and life’s meaningful moments. Maternity photography is especially close to me: as a mother I know how quickly the moments of pregnancy pass, and I want to help you preserve them as images you will return to for years. My shooting style is natural and emotion-driven. I prefer lifestyle sessions outdoors in soft natural light, but my cosy studio in Kuusankoski provides a calm and intimate environment focused on you and your bump’s story. I use restrained props and clear compositions — my aim is to create timeless, elegant images you’ll proudly hang on your wall or keep in albums. My working approach is warm and unhurried. We plan the session together: choosing the setting and mood, discussing wardrobe and possible family involvement — often the best photos come when the moment is genuinely relaxed. During the shoot I guide you gently and encouragingly so you feel comfortable and natural. The result I strive for is to convey the feelings and anticipation that make pregnancy such a unique time. After the session I deliver a generous online gallery from which you can select your favourites; I want the selection process to be easy and enjoyable.
